Café Services Caters To 800 Employees and State Dignitaries At Schneider Electric Ribbon Cutting
Café Services, a corporate food services company serving Massachusetts and the greater northeast, served lunch to about 800 Schneider Electric employees and state and local dignitaries on September 10 to celebrate the opening of the firm’s new, global research and development center.
The Boston One campus in Andover, Massachusetts serves as US headquarters for the multi-billion-dollar global company. Massachusetts Governor Duval Patrick joined Schneider North America CEO Laurent Vernerey at the afternoon ribbon-cutting ceremony to welcome employees to the state-of-the-art research facility, which is silver-certified in Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED).
The Andover facility was designed to “create an environment that encourages collaboration with customers, R&D engineers and employees,” according to a press release from Schneider Electric. Schneider chose Café Services to replicate this environment in the building’s corporate dining room.

Multiple Brunch Stations Keep Festivities On Track
At the ribbon cutting featuring a building tour and remarks from Patrick, Vernerey and Congresswoman Niki Tsongas, Café Services kept the festivities on track with a buffet served at four identical stations. Café Services Chef/Manager, Bob Matulonis, offered a fresh, seasonal selection of creative harvest salads, paninis and sandwiches on artisan rolls, accompanied by assorted beverages and desserts. Founder and CEO Brian Stone, and Director of Business Development, Matt Stone, joined Matulonis and Poppers to mark the occasion and ensure a seamless event.
The celebration continued into the evening and next day with Café Services catering a VIP reception for 200 Schneider Electric customers, followed by breakfast and luncheon on September 11 for over 100 financial analysts.
