A company that grows as steadily as Café Services needs room to expand. So on February 27, the corporate food service management company serving greater New England and the mid-Atlantic, moved from its long-time headquarters in Londonderry, New Hampshire to a new, more expansive and modern office space in nearby Manchester, New Hampshire. With easy access to Interstate 93, the 11,000 square foot facility is almost double the size of the company’s previous home. For a company that grows consistently at an annualized rate of about 15%, this is a welcome improvement. In 2014, the firm’s growth rate reached 22%. Café Services President & CEO, Brian Stone, sees the upward trend continuing. He personally helped design the facility to give employees more space, flexibility and resources to train, collaborate, and develop the innovative recipes and customized programs that Café Services clients have long valued. “We’re poised for growth,” says Stone. “We have offices for ALL associates, even our field service reps and future employees, along with multiple meeting and conference rooms. As a company known for our personalized service, it was important to design a space that can accommodate frequent face-to-face interactions.” Café Services Director of Human Resources, Jaime Matheson, agrees. “The new space feels more like a home base. Although Café Services has always encouraged teamwork, the flow here makes collaboration easier. It’s a more productive vibe.” If there’s one feature of the new facility that Stone is most excited about, it’s the state-of-the-art, commercial-grade test kitchen and training center—an onsite laboratory for developing and testing new menus and standards, evaluating food products and training culinary and service professionals. “There’s a huge benefit to doing all this in-house,” says Stone. “This is really unique among corporate food services companies.” In May, Café Services will host an open house celebration to showcase its new facilities at 749 East Industrial Park Drive, Manchester, New Hampshire.
