Today was the kickoff of a very exciting program at 77 City Point Cafe in Waltham, our new Guest Chef Program. Every other week, we will feature a different chef who will prepare a restaurant quality high end dish. Today I served a contemporary Mexican menu featuring authentic Mole Verde con Pepita over braised beef short rib tostada and vegetarian tomalito poblano. The entrées were served with black rice and white bean salad and included hibiscus orange tea and sopapillas w/Dulce de Leche (caramel sweetened cream) for dipping. It was the best entrée sales day ever, a very exciting start to our guest chef program!
